We strongly recommend that all therapists listing on Treatwiser have an active membership with a reputable professional body and / or a suitable qualification. Professional bodies in particular require their members to uphold high levels of professional standards, ethics and also maintain insurance coverage.

As such, we only verify listings where the therapist has provided sufficient evidence for at least one therapy that they either:

1. Are an active full member of a reputable professional body
2. Hold a suitable qualification at diploma level and above, and active liability insurance (for selected therapies only)

A verified listing is denoted by a green tick in the search results or a green “Verified Therapist” box on a listings page. Unverified listings are included for informational purposes only and have not been checked by Treatwiser.
