I first qualified in massage in 1997, before entering nursing and then midwifery as my main career. I then spent 9 years working around childhood disability, particularly cerebral palsy and childhood amputees. I then became a sports therapist and have since amalgamated my knowledge in all of these areas to provide a comprehensive treatment. I specialise in womens health and pregnancy, trauma and PTSD, children with cerebral palsy, and have more recently become a certified oncology practitioner and an aromatherapist. I also offer courses as an accredited massage tutor. I am fully insured and registered with the FHT.
I have also had a couple of articles published on “The Importance for Massage Therapists of Understanding Medical Conditions” and “The Use of Massage in Clients with Unresolved Trauma”.
If you have been diagnosed with or suspect you may have a pre-existing medical condition, please consult your GP for advice before starting any new therapies.
